Society of the Plastics Industry

Founded in 1937, the Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc., is the trade association representing one of the largest manufacturing industries in the United States. SPI's members represent the entire plastics industry supply chain, including processors, machinery and equipment manufacturers and raw materials suppliers. The U.S. plastics industry employs 1.1 million workers and provides more than $341 billion in annual shipments. SPI’s vision is to be a world-class trade organization that promotes industry growth in a global economy while providing outstanding industry representation and services to members. Its mission is to represent the entire plastics industry in a manner that promotes development of the industry and enhances public understanding of its contributions while meeting the needs of society and providing value to members.
