Oregon Biosciences High Performance Consortium

OBA HPC serves the needs of the bioscience industry statewide providing information, training, and support for companies pursuing a higher standard of performance through the implementation of Lean activities. Member companies are indeed a unique segment of Oregon’s manufacturing industry, in that they must balance their Lean enterprise efforts with the stringent regulatory oversight of the FDA. The consortium provides a platform for information exchange and benchmarking that is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the bioscience industry.

SOHPEC offers roundtable opportunities for member and non-member organizations and provides forums for the exchange of information on the best, most cost and resource effective practices and processes. SOHPEC seminars bring advanced ideas and approaches from nationally and internationally recognized experts. SOHPEC provides access to quality online training through the Lean Enterprise Institute (webinars) and BMGI, and helps members find resources and support by offering High Performance Education Modules and promoting resource alliances between college faculty, students and business owners.
