EV-HPEC represents a cross-section of Lane County businesses interested in sharing and disseminating information on best practices in lean and high-performance processes. It is a learning network where like-minded companies and individuals share best practices, benchmark success, and network with one another. Activities include structured learning tours, training classes, speakers, and special interest groups.

EV-HPEC partners with the Lane Manufacturing Skills Alliance to offer training to its members. Since its first Lean Training in October 2007, EVHPEC has had over 560 enrollments in course offerings focused on implementing Lean and the High Performance Enterprise. Area employers have sent their incumbent workforce to courses in: Principles of Lean, Five S Visual Workplace, Value Stream Mapping, Lean Leadership & Change Management, Set Up Reduction, Problem Solving, Job Instruction Coaching, Standard Work, and Building a Culture of Lean. Companies have come from a wide variety of Industry Sectors, including Metals Fabrication, Financial Sector, Transportation Equipment, Life Sciences, Food Processing, Secondary Woods Products, Plastics, and Health Insurance.
