The website’s Career Info/School Activities section offers information on careers in manufacturing. The same section provides information on the TMA’s annual Math in Manufacturing Poster Contest (open to Illinois high school students), Manufacturing Essay Contest (for Illinois Students in the seventh and eighth grade), and Precision Machining Competition (for Illinois high school students enrolled in a manufacturing technology education class or accredited metals class). Links are provided for the TMA Education Foundation as well as for current and back issues of the Metalworking Opportunities newsletter.
